McCormick Ranch Wedding: Kati & Stephen’s Romantic Spring Celebration
So, you may or may not have noticed, but I’ve been fairly terrible at blogging over the past several months. Kati and Stephen’s wedding was in the spring, friends. The spring. And now it’s November. Welp, we believe late is better than never, so here we are! We couldn’t pass up showing you their beautiful McCormick Ranch wedding photos, and their video is not far behind! (Side note: want to know why we love capturing both photos and video at all of our weddings? Check out this post).
Ok, back to Kati and Stephen. These two lovebirds met the old fashioned way – in a bar! Stephen was in town for a work trip, and went out with some coworkers one night. He told his friend to be his “wing-woman” and to find him a “nice girl to meet.” The first nice girl she found was Kati, and the rest is history! There was no need to find anyone else! They dated long-distance for quite a while since Stephen was living in Pennsylvania at the time. He later moved out to Arizona, and they were eager to make it official!
Kati & Stephen’s wedding day was so beautiful and chock full of gorgeous, well-thought-out details, which we loooove! Kati chose a classic blush and navy color palette for her day. The bridesmaids were all in navy, including Kati’s adorable younger sister, who was just the sweetest! Stephen and his groomsmen wore a modern gray suit, and it coordinated perfectly with the navy dresses and blush blooms.
Speaking of blooms, our friend Andrea with Garden Gate Flowers knocked it out of the park once more. Want to see more of her stunning work? Check it out here, here, and here. The bouquets were overflowing with lush cream and blush blooms and cascading greenery. Heart eyes for days.
Kati chose to wear her hair down, with a bit pulled back to an elbow-length veil. It went beautifully with her lace sweetheart neckline gown. Some of my favorite moments of any wedding day are when the bride finally gets into her dress, with all of her closest girls by her side. Kati’s day was no exception, with her sweet mom and stepmom nearby to offer hugs and support. A first look with her teary-eyed dad topped it off.
We hope you love their McCormick Ranch wedding as much as we did. I mean, it’s tough to beat sunset photos in front of the mountains. Stay tuned for their video coming very soon!
